Digital X-ray Imaging X-rays are an invaluable diagnostic tool for detecting cavities between teeth, examining the nerves and roots of teeth, and determining the health of gums and jaw bones. Our Milton office utilizes state-of-the-art X-ray equipment. We are leaders in the Milton Campbellville Acton and Halton area, having Kodak's most recent digital diagnostic imaging equipment that reduces radiation by up to 92%. While other offices utilize conventional X-ray equipment, we are proud to be leaders in the digital age of orthodontics. With this digital imaging system, your exposure to X-ray radiation is minimal, and Dr. Eva Berka can store your digital X-ray images in his computer system for a quick transfer to other specialists or insurance companies if needed.

Invisalign® The revolutionary Invisalign® system is the closest thing there is to invisible braces. Invisalign® is an excellent choice for Dr. Eva Berka's Milton Campbellville Acton and Halton area Orthodontic patients who want to fix gaps, misalignments, and overlaps without the hassle of traditional metal braces. Through a series of clear plastic trays, called aligners, your teeth are gradually moved into alignment, creating the straight smile you have always wanted. Using computer digital x-ray imaging, Dr. Eva Berka can acquire digital images of your teeth to determine if Invisalign® is right for your orthodontic care. In some situations, the time it takes to complete the treatment can be less than what would be expected with traditional braces.

To begin the process, Dr. Eva Berka obtains and forwards the impressions of your teeth to the Invisalign® centre so that your aligners can be customized to fit your mouth. Typically, a full treatment includes 18 to 30 aligners. Each aligner is worn for about two weeks, then discarded and replaced by the next in the series. The aligners are worn at all times, except when eating, drinking, brushing, and flossing. With each new aligner, teeth gradually shift into place.
Many patients have found that Invisalign® treatment through Dr. Eva Berka's Milton Campbellville Acton and Halton area Orthodontics practice is a convenient and comfortable method of improving their appearance and the way they feel about their smile in social situations.

Patient Education and Involvement in Treatment Dr. Eva Berka believes that an informed and involved patient is more capable of achieving the highest level of oral health. She urges her patients to ask any questions regarding their orthodontic procedures and options. Milton Orthodontics offers the interactive IACT® Patient Education system, so that their patients can view detailed videos explaining each procedure, as well as orthodontic imaging, so that patients can see how their smiles will be transformed.
